Our story

Korean pizza meets Japanese katsu in West Springs

After introducing Calgary to Korean-style pizza in Royal Oak in late 2023, our locally operated team opened Pizza Maru & Katsuya West in West Springs in 2026 to serve southwest Calgary. It’s a dual-concept kitchen: Pizza Maru’s creative Korean pizzas on green tea chlorella dough, from bulgogi-topped pies to sweet potato creations, alongside Katsuya’s crispy Japanese fusion katsu such as Brick Cheese, Carbonara and Sweet Chili Katsu. A casual, friendly spot for family dinners, date nights and takeout for West Springs, Aspen Woods and Cougar Ridge.
