Original Katsu is the classic that the whole Katsuya menu is built on: a pork loin cutlet, breaded and fried to order until the coating is light and crunchy and the centre is juicy, then served with Katsuya’s signature original sauce.

Katsu is Japan’s best-loved comfort food, and freshly made katsu is what Katsuya is known for. Guests who prefer chicken can add an Extra Chicken Katsu from the Royal Oak menu, and there are sauce-driven variations like Brick Cheese, Curry and Carbonara Katsu for the more adventurous.
